SimplyHired comes to India

In the Vertical Search Engine market, one of the big successes has been SimplyHired, founded by the Godhwani brothers of Indian origin.

The SimplyHired blog states that they’ve now opened their India specific vertical search engine in addition to Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia .

The Indian site has content from the big guys, JobStreetm, Monster and Naukri and some obscure jobsites like Fundoodatajobs.

The other interesting stuff there is that each job opening has a linkedin logo next to it. It says

“Who Do I Know™ at xyz ltd. Allow Simply Hired to access your LinkedIn account.

Not a LinkedIn User? Sign up today!”

So apart from just utilising the jobsite’s feeds, SH is looking at leveraging Linkedin’s increasing inroads into the Indian market.
