World Chefs “Cooking for Life” is hosting a culinary event “The Living Pyramids Tour” in Cairo, Egypt. Proceeds from the event will be used to promote accessibility programs in Egypt and other popular tourist attractions.

During the four-day event, from July 18-21, guests will enjoy dinners prepared by 21 internationally renowned chefs from 18 countries. Ingredients used will be from the local markets purchased that day. Sitting in the shadow of the pyramids, guests will be entertained with Egyptian music and dance by local performers.

“The Living Pyramids Tour” is the first of a series of culinary events presented by World Chefs “Cooking for Life,” a non-profit organization founded by Chef Vikas Khanna, whose mission is to bring the world together through food. He has received a number of accolades for his humanitarian work and was honored with the prestigious “Access to Freedom Award” from The Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality (SATH). Past honorees include President George W. Bush and The Prince Charles, Prince of Wales.

  4. I found this pix from vikas egypt website Gautam he is dashing. Please write something on your encounters with him, by the way my name is Geeta Shetty and I come from Mangalore and now working in New Jersey in a hospital. reading about vikas truly inspires me and all I can do is still back and applause for his each and every dazzling success. No Indian have i known in America who has done so much and he is so young. My co-worker from Trinidad has a printed and laminated pix of him and thinks that jai shud be killed….

We read about him in newspapers all the time, but that is press and they have a different dimension and prespective. When you will write, the world will see truly who [ vikas khanna ] is and about his facts, how many girlfriends killed each other for him, was he too loud, arrogant, peaceful, quiet, bright, as hot as he is now, as creative and outgoing and most important ‘ did you ever expect that he will be changing so much in the world ‘
    regards/ geeta

  6. I am not sure what is this guy doing for riots in Mumbai. I am sure he knows what is going on in here. I think that he has to focus only in the India.

There is so many more issues than accessibility. I think he should do much more for India and rememeber that India is the best country in the WORLD.

maybe he will read this and get some sense.
