No Andhra hotels in Hyderabad ?
This has got to be the one of the craziest news items I’ve read in sometime. Next they’ll say ban idlis and vadas as they are not Telengana specific food items.
From linguistic chauvinism to gastronomic chauvinism?
Best length of a blog post?
As the old adage goes, it’s not the length that matters – it’s the technique
I am a big fan of Dave Pollard’s posts that have enough content to fill more than two magazine pages – and insights that an American writer would write a couple of volumes on.
Penelope Trunk is a blogger whose blog posts are long and enjoyable for the amount of character and stories that carry.
Rob May who now blogs at Coconut Headsets is another person who can say a lot and ensure that his content keeps me engaged.
It depends (as we HR folks like to say) on what you are comfortable with and what you want to achieve. Be warned that longer posts need two essential components:
1. An engaging writing style
2. A great insight or really original content
If you are not sure that your content has these two components, then stick to short posts.
Like I have done.
