Got this email from Kelly Services. I don’t remember signing up for any emails from them. And this was the first email I have ever recieved !
Wouldn’t this be considered spam then?

Korn/Ferry leadership changes
Korn/Ferry International
has announced several corporate leadership changes and new hires:Don
Spetner, who has served as Korn/Ferry’s Senior Vice President and Chief
Marketing Officer since 2000, has been promoted to Executive Vice
President, Corporate Affairs, a newly-created role within the firm. Mr.
Spetner will oversee strategic corporate initiatives including the
monetization of Korn/Ferry’s intellectual property, the formation of
new products and solutions, and the integration of future investments.
He will also continue to selectively conduct executive searches as a
member of the firm’s External Affairs Center of Expertise.
Michael
Distefano, who joined the firm in 2001 as Chief Marketing Officer of
Futurestep (a Korn/Ferry company) and has for the past five years
served as Korn/Ferry’s Vice President of Global Marketing, has assumed
the role as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Moving
forward, Mr. Distefano will lead marketing, public relations, branding
and internal communications efforts across the firm globally.
Brian Suh
has joined Korn/Ferry as Senior Vice President of Corporate
Development, also a newly-created role. He comes from Countrywide
Financial Corp. where he held the position of Executive Vice President,
Corporate Development. Previously Mr. Suh was Vice President, Corporate
Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions of Fidelity National Financial.
Dominique Virchaux has joined the firm’s Miami office as a Senior
Client Partner and a member of the Global Consumer Market. Virchaux
brings more than 20 years of executive search experience to Korn/Ferry,
and has conducted numerous high-level assignments across multiple
industries and geographies spanning the Americas. Recognized as one of
the leading search professionals worldwide as listed in The Global 200
Executive Recruiters, Virchaux joins the firm from Virchaux &
Partners, a Miami-based boutique executive search firm that he founded
in 2003. Nathalie Lambert has been named a Senior Associate and member
of the firm’s European Consumer and Luxury Goods practice. With a
doctoral degree in Pharmacy from Essec, Lambert, 42, began her career
at Monsanto before joining L’Oréal in 1994 where she acted in several
director positions for various departments, including Marketing
Director, France. In 2000 she became Communications Director for
L’Oréal Paris.
Also in Europe, Gael de Roquefeuil has joined the Paris
office as a senior client partner. De Roquefeuil, 47, began his career
at Smith Barney in New York and in Tokyo. In 1991, he was employed by
Goldman Sachs in London, before being hired four years later by UBS in
Hong Kong who then sent him to Singapore as Co-Manager of
Joint-Ventures. He returned to France in 2003 and pursued a career as
in the executive search industry as a partner specializing in finance
for another leading international firm.
Alan C. Guarino has been named
a senior client partner and a member of the firm’s global financial
market. He is based in the New York office. Mr. Guarino joins
Korn/Ferry from New York-based Cornell International, which he founded
as a start-up in 1993. Most recently, Mr. Guarino has served as a
non-executive chairman of Cornell International while also working as
an independent business consultant.
Executive Search Assignments
Spencer Stuart
has been retained by Merrill Lynch to fill the brokerage firm’s top
seat after the resignation of E. Stanley O’Neal. Thomas J. Neff,
chairman of Spencer Stuart U.S., is running the search. Countrywide
Financial has hired Heidrick & Struggles International Inc.,
to find two new directors, and a company official says Countrywide
hopes to attract at least one director who has been CEO or chief
operating officer of a large public company. So far this year, three
Countrywide directors have resigned following the recent credit shock:
Michael Dougherty, a Minneapolis investment banker who was the lead
director; Kathleen Brown, an executive at Goldman Sachs, and Henry
Cisneros, a former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Korn/Ferry International
has announced the successful appointment of Drayton Campbell Mayers as
the CEO of the Memphis-based Cotton Board. For the last 14 years of his
career, Mayers has held positions that have been responsible for many
of the implemented programs, alliances and marketing/public relations
campaigns that contributed to the on-going success of Cotton Council
International – the export promotion arm of the National Cotton
Council.
